New NXT Logo Was Designed Without Any Input From Triple H

NXT is receiving rebranding, but it turns out that people who make key decisions on it had no say in the matter. The rebranding will be fully unveiled on September 14th’s NXT event. While the superstars are dealing with the new logo, a new report states the officials running the show couldn’t make any calls on it.

Dave Meltzer wrote in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that NXT officials were powerless to do anything on the rebranding. The report even claimed that the marketing team of the brand weren’t to put in the work. Prominent figures such as Vince McMahon, Kevin Dunn, Bruce Pritchard, Nick Khan, and John Laurinaitis had no influence on it.

The new logo came from WWE with no input from the NXT people and it’s when it comes to the future of NXT and its rebranding, it’s said the people making the decision, on their own, are the likes of Vince McMahon, Nick Khan, John Laurinaitis, Kevin Dunn and Bruce Prichard.

Meltzer added that the reports regarding Vince McMahon & Bruce Pritchard taking over the brand creatively stood inaccurate. Nick Khan’s statements on the brand no longer taking in indie talent and focusing on the ones available were disputed by Triple H himself, Meltzer said.

Kevin Dunn made the changes in the NXT rebranding, according to Wrestling Observer Newsletter report. “R.I.P NXT” trended on Twitter after the new logo was announced. However, it was also reported that key WWE players will re-shift their focus to NXT.
